Will this replace the OEM centre plate on my XB4?

Yes, the plate is made to replace the original centre plate on XRAY XB4 models from 2020 and 2021 and uses the same mounting arrangement.

Can I polish the hard-coated surface for appearance?

Polishing the hard-coating is not recommended as it may remove the protective layer. Keep the plate clean and avoid abrasive cleaners to maintain the coating.

Does this part need periodic replacement?

With normal use the hard-coated aluminium should last significantly longer than plastic parts, but inspect for signs of wear and replace if you notice deformation or excessive scoring.
