Refined 30mm Big Bore Front Shocks for Consistent Handling

These 30mm big bore front shock absorbers from XRAY are aimed at club racers and tinkerers who value repeatable damping. The package contains parts to build two shocks and uses a membrane-free arrangement with bleed-screw caps to promote uniform assembly and accurate rebound control. The -1mm short shock caps deliver extra up-travel for improved front compliance over rough sections.

Robust Swiss Aluminium Design

Manufactured from CNC machined Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, the shock bodies give excellent strength and dimensional accuracy, with a hard black finish to reduce cosmetic and wear damage. Up-stop adjustments use C-clip shim stacks while composite shims under the pistons provide downstop control for fine tuning.

Will these shocks change front end balance?

Adding the -1mm caps increases available extension which can shift balance slightly toward more front grip on bumpy circuits; tune springs and oil to suit.

How should I service the bleed-screw caps?

Keep the screw threads clean and use a light lubricant on seals. Periodically inspect for leaks and replace seals if damping becomes inconsistent.

Can these be used on other chassis?

While designed for XB2 series fitment, they may suit other cars with compatible mounting and stroke; measure before attempting to fit them to alternative chassis.
