XRAY 368201 Big Bore Rear Shock Absorbers for Precise Suspension

If you need cleaner rear behaviour from an XB2 series car, the XRAY 368201 big bore rear shock absorbers provide more tunability and consistent damping. They suit a range of surfaces and help drivers fine tune rear grip and balance.

Increased Oil Volume for Smooth Damping

The 13.2mm big bore construction boosts oil capacity and reduces fading on demanding sections, helping maintain traction. Select 2.0mm or 2.5mm pistons to alter damping response. Pre-oiled X-rings reduce friction and help keep contaminants out of the shock unit.

Geometry Options and Travel Control

Use the eccentric lower pivot balls to alter shock angle for different handling characteristics. Composite shims under the piston and on the collars set limits to extension and compression so suspension travel stays consistent under load.

Specifications

  • Shock Diameter: 13.2mm
  • Piston Thickness Options: 2.0mm, 2.5mm
  • Compatibility: Universal for Dirt and Carpet Edition
  • Included Components: Composite bushings for aluminum shock caps

A practical upgrade for racers and tuners aiming for repeatable rear damping and improved corner exits.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are supplied with composite bushings specifically for aluminium shock caps. If your caps are composite, check compatibility before fitting or source the correct bushings.
Choose oil weight to match track bumpiness and desired rebound speed. Lighter oil for faster recovery on smooth carpet, heavier oil for controlled movement on rough dirt.
Adjusting eccentric pivot balls can be done with standard hex tools and an alignment check. Make small moves and test to observe handling changes rather than large adjustments.
Regularly clean the bodies, inspect X-rings and shims, and replace oil if contaminated. Check for shaft straightness and replace any worn parts to ensure repeatable damping.
