Will these wheels accept standard XB tyres without modification?

They will fit most XB front tyres that are designed for aerodisk rims, but check tyre bead seating and width to ensure no rubbing on suspension components.

Are these wheels resistant to chipping when running on rough surfaces?

The formulation offers good resistance to small chips and nicks; however, very rough or debris-laden surfaces will increase wear and may shorten service life.

Do I need special adapters to install these on non-XB hubs?

If your hub does not use a 14mm internal hex you will need the correct adapter; for standard XB hubs the 14mm hex provides a direct fit.
