Precision Chassis Upgrade for the X10'16

The XRAY 371006 - X10'16 Graphite Chassis is a precision upgrade developed for racers targeting cleaner handling on carpet. Its ultra-narrow profile is optimised for short battery packs to improve steering response, increase traction and reduce tyre scrub in tight sections.

Designed for Competitive Carpet Circuits

Manufactured with CNC accuracy from a bespoke 2.5mm high-grade graphite compound, this chassis delivers consistent flex characteristics for competitive racing. Updated hole patterns permit long shock mounting to enhance on-power traction and smooth the car's behaviour over uneven track surfaces.

Specifications

  • Material: High-grade graphite
  • Thickness: 2.5mm
  • Compatibility: XRAY X10 2016
  • Design: Ultra-narrow for short battery packs

A solid upgrade for experienced drivers who want a more stable, predictable X10'16 setup and improved cornering performance on carpet.

Remark :

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The increased stiffness can reduce overall roll and make the car feel more responsive. You may need to fine tune sway bars and shock tuning to retain desired balance.
The selected 2.5mm compound is chosen to combine durability with race-suitable stiffness. It is not overly brittle but should be inspected after impacts to ensure no hidden damage.
This chassis is designed for short battery packs to centralise mass. Move the battery to the recommended short-pack location and recheck balance and steering sensitivity during setup laps.
The chassis itself keeps standard mounting points but the changed flex profile can alter effective geometry under load. Re-evaluate camber gain and toe settings after installation.
Check chassis symmetry, fastener torque, and ensure no interference with electronics. Run a few laps and make incremental setup changes to confirm consistent performance.
