The XRAY 375017-L Lightweight Rear Gear Differential Axle Shaft is built for modelers who want tighter control from their 1/10 pan car or formula chassis. Forged from HUDY Spring Steel and machined for balance, the shaft minimises vibration and supports more consistent power transfer.

Reduced rotating mass for better on-track responses

The lightweight construction reduces inertia, improving acceleration and transient handling. It serves as a direct replacement for Axle Shaft #375017 and is compatible with Gear Diff #374901 for 1/10 Formula and #374902 for 1/10 Pan Car applications.

Trade-offs and service advice

Although the gear differential arrangement can boost handling, it may show less wear resistance than a conventional ball differential. If extended component life is the priority, consider the standard ball differential option.

Inspect the shaft after heavy sessions or if you experience new vibration. Check for scoring or deformation and ensure mating diff components show no excessive wear.

Does the shaft require different setup from stock?
