The XRAY 376120 X12 Carbon Battery Backstop is engineered to let you control battery placement on X12 cars with repeatable accuracy. Made from premium American-made carbon fiber, the unit supports precise setup changes to suit different driving approaches.

Stepwise Adjustment for Handling

This carbon backstop includes five positions and permits up to 6mm of forward shift. The four forward detents move in roughly 2mm steps, offering fine resolution to influence front to rear balance and cornering traits.

Most standard X12 battery profiles will work, but you should check length and height to ensure the selected position provides adequate clearance from electronics and chassis components.
Altering weight distribution can shift corner load patterns and influence tyre wear; monitor tyre temperatures and wear when experimenting with different positions.
On high grip surfaces, moving the battery forward a notch can improve stability and reduce sudden rotation; combine this with small ride height or anti-roll adjustments to fine tune balance.
Keep the part clean and inspect mounting screws regularly for tightness. Avoid harsh impacts and wipe with a mild cloth to remove dust and grime.
