Precision motor mount and fan for XRAY M18T

This machined aluminium motor mount with integrated cooling fan is designed as an aftermarket replacement for the XRAY M18T touring chassis. It holds the motor securely while positioning a compact fan to reduce motor temperature in 1/18 scale track use.

Made from machined aluminium, the bracket forms a rigid connection between motor and chassis to help maintain correct pinion and spur alignment under load. The fan mounts to the bracket to push airflow over the motor can and endbell on short, technical layouts.

Fitting requires the usual motor removal and re-mounting to the XRAY M18T motor plate; check and set pinion mesh and motor orientation to match your drivetrain. This item is intended for model RC applications only.

Will this affect my drivetrain noise?

If installed with correct pinion mesh it should not increase drivetrain noise; always set mesh with the motor secured in the mount and test at low throttle first.

Can I run the fan from my receiver pack?

Only if the fan voltage and connector are compatible with your receiver or BEC output. Many fans require a 5-12V source, so confirm compatibility before connecting.

Is replacement of the fan straightforward?

The fan is mounted to the bracket and can be replaced with basic tools if it fails; keep spare mounting screws and check connector types when sourcing replacements.
