Machined aluminium 2nd gear adaptor for NT1

This machined aluminium 2nd gear adaptor is a scale replacement intended for XRAY NT1 racers who need a resilient, colour-coded gearbox part. The red adaptor mounts inside the NT1 transmission to provide a firmer interface for the second gear and to help preserve mesh under load.

Built for dependable fitment rather than marketing claims, the aluminium shell is far less likely to deform than plastic stock pieces, helping to maintain consistent spur-to-2nd gear engagement during heavy driving and during repeated setup adjustments.

Installation notes: remove the gearbox cover and the existing 2nd gear adaptor using your normal NT1 service procedure, check alignment with the gear stack, and secure with the original fasteners. After fitting, inspect gear mesh and axial endplay. Special tools are not normally necessary beyond your standard NT1 toolkit.

Tuning note: this adaptor serves as a straightforward metal swap to reduce unwanted movement in the 2nd gear assembly while tuning, testing and maintaining your car. It is not intended to alter gear ratios or substantially change drivetrain behaviour on its own.
