Refine YD-2SXIII Handling with a Dedicated Graphite Chassis

The Yokomo Y2-002SMGA graphite high traction main chassis is made to sharpen the YD-2SXIII's drift performance. It keeps the same screw hole arrangement for E series gearboxes and rear motor conversions, while providing a tailored plate shape for on-track tuning.

Standard 2.5mm Graphite with Strategic Weight Reduction

This main plate uses the familiar 2.5mm graphite thickness from the YD-2 family and has been slimmed in select areas to reduce mass without losing necessary stiffness. The approach helps tyres maintain contact on low mu floors like P-tiles and coloured concrete.

Designed Rear Section to Increase Drift Stability

The chassis rear is processed with slits to boost rear-end traction, delivering more stable slides and improved cornering control for drifting applications.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes. Its design favours consistent rear traction on low mu surfaces, making it suitable for practice and competition where predictable drift behaviour is important.
Electronics layout is unchanged relative to standard YD-2 plates, and E series gearbox positions remain, so most existing setups will mount without relocating components.
Check mounting points and slit areas regularly for wear after heavy use. Routine inspection helps maintain reliable handling and prevents unexpected flex or damage.
