This aftermarket steering knuckle is produced for YIKONG YK7081 TB8 models and is machined from 7075-T6 aluminium to strengthen critical steering points while keeping additional mass to a minimum. It replaces factory part number 80004 and suits hobbyists performing routine repairs or straightforward hop-up upgrades aimed at better bearing life and sharper steering response.

The kit increases bearing sizes to lower wear: inner bearing upgraded to 20x30x7mm (stock 20x27x4mm) and outer bearing to 15x24x5mm (stock 15x21x4mm). Bigger bearings spread loads more evenly and help the steering system resist wear under repeated impacts, without altering the core chassis geometry.

All necessary mounting hardware is supplied and assemblies arrive pre-assembled where practical. For reliable installation, use medium-strength threadlocker on mating screws and respect recommended torque values for M3 fasteners to avoid stripping threads in aluminium components.
