Grease for O-rings and Oil Dampers

The Yokomo C-1105A formulation is intended for scale RC oil dampers and associated O-rings, delivering a tacky lubricant that helps stabilise seals during assembly and maintenance. Apply a small amount to the O-ring lip to limit seal swelling from repeated contact with silicone damping oil, which helps preserve correct seal geometry and fit.

Due to its sticky character, the grease also serves general workshop uses where a tacky lubricant is wanted, such as light conditioning of seals, improving sliding plastic contacts, and temporarily holding tiny parts during setup. Avoid heavy application to prevent dirt attraction; remove surplus from exposed components after installation.

Application: spread a thin, even layer onto the O-ring before seating on the damper shaft or cap, then assemble normally. For consistent damping results, only reapply after seals have been cleaned or swapped out.
