In many cases no other parts are required, but inspect dogbones, cups and diff interfaces for wear and replace as necessary for a reliable install.
Aluminium offers lower weight and good stiffness but less impact resistance than steel; choose based on whether reduced mass or maximum toughness is the priority.
After an impact, check the shaft for bends, inspect set screws and mating cups, and ensure the diff and hubs are undamaged before running again.
It is designed to fit BD11 variants listed in the compatibility section, but confirm fit with your specific submodel and hardware as chassis revisions can vary.
