The Yokomo B9-S116A piston is an upgrade option for BD9 high big bore short shocks, created with AXON collaboration. The six-hole pattern enhances vibration absorption and grip. Its increased outer diameter improves chassis stability during large roll angles and helps prevent rear instability when cornering at speed.

Compatibility and oil recommendations

In comparison to the stock 4-hole BD9 pistons, the B9-S116A has larger hole diameters that yield a more responsive feel. Install using your usual shock oil at first, then try heavier oils from #50 to #100 to fine tune damping for surface and driving style.
