The unit is produced in blue anodised aluminium to give a firm mounting location for the suspension arm pins while remaining specific to RC applications.

Functionally, the mount secures the outer end of the front suspension arm and contributes to front suspension geometry. The left-to-right spacing between the suspension arm pins is 43.5mm; confirming that distance during fitment avoids misalignment with hub carriers and steering linkages.
