Stabilise ESC Output with the Yokomo BL-RCPA

The Yokomo BL-RCPA ESC Racing Capacitor is made to provide a temporary voltage reserve for your speed controller, reducing the effect of battery sag under demanding throttle. It releases stored energy to support stronger acceleration in short bursts.

Improved Throttle Consistency Under Load

Hard acceleration can cause transient voltage drops that blunt acceleration. This capacitor reacts quickly to supply additional current when needed, helping to preserve throttle response and reduce hesitation out of corners.

Durable Aluminium Case and Polarity-Free Connection

Constructed with an aluminium casing to help disperse heat and sized at 20.5x16.0x6.8mm for tight installs, the unit is easy to place in compact electronics bays. The non-polar layout means you can connect it to either ESC battery lead without concern for which way round it is.

It reduces short, rapid voltage drops by supplying quick bursts of current, but it will not replace a weak battery or incorrect ESC settings.
The aluminium case offers mechanical protection, but the unit is not sealed against water ingress; avoid exposure to moisture or run it in a protected electronics bay.
Locate it close to the ESC battery terminals, secure it with double-sided tape or a small bracket, and keep wiring neat to minimise stray inductance and resistance.
