Precision steering plate suitable for B-MAX4 III

The Arrowmax AM-MAX4-002 steering plate is an RC replacement crafted for the Yokomo B-MAX4 III chassis. Constructed from 7075 aluminium, it offers increased rigidity over standard plates and is intended as a plug-in upgrade for front steering geometry refinement on touring cars.

Within the steering assembly the plate serves as a solid mounting surface for servo linkages and steering knuckles. Reduced flex at the pivot points tends to improve steering feedback consistency and can alter toe and Ackermann responses when you adjust setup settings.

Installation is routine for those familiar with the B-MAX4 III: remove the factory plate, transfer any bearings or bushings, and secure this unit with the existing fasteners while observing correct torque for aluminium. After fitting, check servo horn alignment and balance linkage travel for neutral steering.
