Precision Cooling for YD-2 Drift Cars

The Yokomo D-CFSA Aluminum Frame Cooling Fan in silver helps maintain steady motor temperatures in YD-2 series drift and touring cars. The compact 30mm fan and metal frame deliver controlled airflow where space is limited.

Electrical Compatibility

This fan is fitted with a pin connector for straightforward connection to your receiver or BEC. It accepts 6V BEC or 7.4V Li-Po inputs so it works with a range of on-vehicle power setups.

Fitting and Hardware Notes

Because the frame is about 10.5mm thick you will need a 15mm button head screw for proper mounting, which is not supplied. The 18cm lead gives flexibility for tidy cable routing inside most chassis designs.

No separate speed controller is required for basic operation; connect to a powered receiver output or BEC. If you want adjustable RPM you can use a dedicated fan controller in line.
The 30mm size and 10.5mm frame depth make it compatible with many small heatsinks, but confirm clearance on your specific motor and mount before finalising fitment.
The supplied 18cm cord suits most layouts, including rear battery positions. If you need extra length consider a short extension cable rather than heavy soldering.
Aluminium frames offer better rigidity and thermal transfer than plastic, which can translate to steadier operation and slight heat dispersion benefits around the motor mount area.
Ensure the fan is firmly mounted with correct screw length and consider rubber washers or foam pads to isolate vibration if noise is an issue during high RPM runs.
