Foam Tyre Bonding Adhesive

The Yokomo CS-SGSTA is an adhesive tailored for fixing foam tyres commonly used on 1/12 scale racing cars. Its thicker consistency supports a firm bond between tyre and rim, helping maintain tyre security during competition.

Correct Use Procedure

Begin by placing the foam tyre on the wheel. Insert the nozzle into the gap between tyre and wheel, reaching toward the centre of the tread. Dispense a controlled amount while rotating to spread the adhesive evenly. With a cure window of about 2 to 3 minutes, you have time to position the tyre precisely. For consistent seating, glue half of one side first, allow it to set, then do the opposite side.

How does CS-SGSTA compare to fast-set glues?
