This spring cup functions as an RC damper accessory that sits beneath the shock spring and shifts the spring mounting point 2mm below the stock position. Produced from blue anodized aluminum, it ensures a solid seating area for longer shock springs commonly fitted for drift applications.

Because the perch is lowered the item makes room for longer springs such as the Swift 2mm long shock spring (YS-2DL5?2, 980) series without any modification to the damper body. The product is supplied as a pair so you can fit both dampers on one axle or create a matching front or rear setup.
