Yokomo D-CFPA - 30mm Aluminum Cooling Fan (Purple) slim cooling solution

The Yokomo D-CFPA packs a 30mm impeller into a rugged aluminium frame to help control motor temperatures on YD-2 cars. Finish options include silver, red and purple to suit different builds.

Powering options and lead length

Fitted with a pin connector for straightforward connection, the fan accepts either 6V from a BEC or a direct 7.4V Li-po. The cable measures approximately 18cm to assist tidy installation in tight spaces.

Fitment advice and screw needed

The fan frame is roughly 10.5mm thick, so double check clearance before fitting. You will need a 15mm button head screw to mount the fan securely; this is sold separately.

Can I adapt this fan to non YD-2 motors?

Yes, it can be used on other models that can house a 30mm fan, but confirm mounting hole positions and clearance for the 10.5mm frame first.

Is the connector polarity standard?

The pin connector follows standard polarity, but always check wiring before powering up to avoid reversing the connection.

Are mounting bolts included in the box?

Mounting hardware is not included. Pick up a 15mm button head screw to secure the fan to your chassis.
