Authentic HKS Styling in the Yokomo DP-IS220

The Yokomo DP-IS220 brings the HKS Racing Performer IS220-R into 1/10 scale as a detailed electric drift kit targeted at experienced RC builders. The model balances faithful exterior detail with a chassis that supports precision setup.

About the MR-4TC SD Chassis

The MR-4TC SD chassis offers race-derived suspension geometry and a well-balanced platform for drifting. A shaft-driven full-time 4WD system ensures predictable power distribution, while the double-wishbone suspension and adjustable turnbuckles let you fine-tune handling traits.

Slide Performance and Visual Accuracy

Yokomo Super Drift tyres and a range of optional parts enable control over slide angle and throttle response. The body reproduces the HKS Racing Performer IS220-R look with a GT wing, aero mirrors, and period style wheels for authentic presentation.

No, the kit requires separate purchase of radio gear, motor, ESC, battery and paints for the polycarbonate body before it can be driven.
Choose a servo with good torque and speed for drift inputs, typically a digital servo rated for at least 8-10 kg-cm torque for reliable control.
Use polycarbonate-specific paints applied in thin coats, allow adequate drying time, and use proper masking techniques to avoid adhesive damage to the shell.
The MR-4TC SD chassis is robust, but when fitting high power motors check gearing, cooling, and drivetrain components to avoid premature wear.
