Hex head king pin for reliable knuckle clamping

This aftermarket king pin fits Yokomo YRX12/R12/GT family knuckles as a direct replacement for the original pivot pin. The button head uses a hex socket that accepts a 1.5mm hex key for quicker service when changing or fine tuning front end components.

The R12-14S is produced with a longer overall shaft than the stock item so the securing nut can be fully fastened even when a spacer is installed under the knuckle (spacer R12-14C?420 sold separately). That extra engagement helps the clamp remain secure after ride-height or caster adjustments.

Role: intended as an economical maintenance and tuning part to improve fastening reliability at the knuckle during setup changes rather than to redesign load handling. Fit on clean surfaces, use the specified 1.5mm hex driver, tighten to a snug condition and avoid excessive torque to protect the threads.

Install on a clean mating surface, use the correct 1.5mm hex tool, and tighten until the joint is secure. Avoid high torque levels to prevent thread damage and recheck the fastener after initial use.
The description refers to a spacer sold separately (R12-14C?420). If you require that spacer for setup changes, source it from parts suppliers that list the R12-14C?420 item and confirm fit before final assembly.
