R12 ver.2 left rear replacement hub

The Yokomo R12-24HL2 is an RC left rear hub designed for the R12 chassis. The ver.2 update moves the clamp from the wheel-mount face to the bulkhead side and features a counterbalanced profile to counter the weight of the mounting screws.

Relocating the clamp to the bulkhead side improves local weight balance and diminishes rotational wobble, helping to keep tyre contact more consistent during rotation and potentially improving traction response. Because the clamp sits on the bulkhead side, the hub can be removed or installed while the wheel remains in place, which simplifies fast pit-side work.

The ver.2 contour also permits quicker height-adapter swaps when adjusting tyre diameter, so ride-height changes and corner-weight tuning can be completed more quickly during setup. Fitment information is given for the Yokomo R12 chassis.

Is this hub limited to the R12 chassis only?

The part is specified for the R12 chassis. If you intend to use it on a different model, verify dimensions and clearances before installation.

Will the bulkhead-side clamp fit existing wheel setups?

The clamp location differs from wheel-mount surface designs, so check that your wheel and bulkhead clearances allow the bulkhead-side clamp. The design does permit hub removal with the wheel attached when compatible.

Do I need specific height adapters for different tyre diameters?

The ver.2 allows faster height-adapter swaps, but you should use adapters intended for the R12 layout and confirm fitment before racing or setup changes.
