Yokomo RD-301 Upgrade for Better RD2.0 Stability

The Yokomo RD-301 Suspension Mount and Servo Horn Kit is intended to refine RD2.0 handling by increasing suspension width and supplying a 20mm servo horn with multiple spline options. The components aim to deliver steadier steering inputs and a firmer stance.

Expanded Mount Geometry for Improved Control

These suspension mounts widen the chassis stance to help reduce unwanted roll. The dimensions are 43.5mm at the front and 57.2mm and 58.2mm at the rear, which helps produce a more composed platform through corners.

Selectable 20mm Servo Horn for Common Splines

The kit includes a 20mm servo horn provided in three variants to match Sanwa/KO, Futaba, and Hitec servo splines, allowing precise steering linkage setup without swapping servos.

The 20mm horn is supplied in three distinct spline patterns for Sanwa/KO, Futaba, and Hitec. Choose the correct pattern for your servo during installation rather than switching in use.
After fitting the RD-301 mounts, check camber, toe and roll characteristics. Small adjustments to shock position or spring rate can help regain handling balance.
The kit is suitable for tuning sessions and competitive use where a wider stance can improve consistency; final performance depends on the rest of the setup.
