Designed for predictable front response on high-traction surfaces

The Yokomo RP-083PI is an RP Ultra front off-road spring developed for use on carpet and astro turf tracks with strong mechanical grip. The design emphasises repeatable rebound and controlled landings, addressing common fatigue and variance seen in earlier spring batches while retaining a lively response.

Practically, the spring changes how the front end reacts over jumps and gap work, improving landing stability and helping the chassis negotiate transitions with greater predictability. Tuners typically adjust preload and pair this spring with appropriate rear rates to achieve desired handling on indoor courses.

Compatibility note: this part is intended for front suspension use on the listed chassis. Confirm spring seat and retainer compatibility on your model prior to fitting.

Supported Chassis: B-YZ4SF / B-YZ2 / B-YZ2CA / B-YZ2DT / B-YZ2DTM / B-YZ2DTMW / B-YZ2DTM2 / B-YZ2CAL2 / B-YZ2DTM2S / B-YZ2DTM3 / B-YZ2CAL3 / B-YZ2DTM31 / B-YZ2CAL31 / ROR-010 / ROR-010RTR / ROR-010RTR-1

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Consistent coil spacing and material choices reduce variance in rebound and free length, which helps maintain similar handling across multiple runs and limits unpredictable changes as the session progresses.
Mixing with different front rates is possible to tune balance, but adjust preload and test incrementally. Combining this spring with too soft or too stiff a mate can produce undesirable handling traits.
Inspect free length, coil alignment, and any surface wear. If you notice sag, reduced rebound control, or deformation, replace the spring to keep handling predictable.
