High-performance viscous oil for RC differentials

This differential lubricant relies on a controlled silicone viscosity to manage traction and rotational smoothness in ball differentials and compact gear diffs. The formula is tuned for stable viscous damping so handling remains predictable during sessions without quick breakdown of lubrication.

Employ the product during setup to change the differential "feel": higher viscosity increases coupling for more pronounced drive feedback, while lower viscosity reduces internal drag for freer operation. It is marketed as a tuning fluid rather than a mechanical part, allowing fine adjustment of differential response for competitive or recreational use.

Application advice: place a small, precise amount onto ball carriers and racing surfaces inside the diff, work the mechanism through its range to distribute the lubricant, and then reassemble. Do not overfill, since surplus fluid will modify the intended damping curve. This description treats the item solely as an accessory for small-scale diffs.

Maintenance note: the formulation aims to limit rapid performance loss so differentials can remain serviceable for longer spans, reducing the frequency of full strip-and-clean routines compared with very thin oils.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is optimized for ball differentials and smaller gear-type diffs. Larger gearboxes may require different formulations tailored to their internal clearances and loadings.
Monitor feel and responsiveness: if the diff begins to feel loose, noisy, or inconsistent, it is time to clean and re-lubricate. Regular inspections after sessions are recommended to judge wear.
The lube is designed to limit rapid wear by maintaining damping, but regular maintenance—cleaning and fresh lubrication—is still necessary to prevent buildup of contaminants that could accelerate wear.
