Short Shock Conversion Kit from Yokomo RS-SSC

Convert your RS1.0 with the Yokomo RS-SSC short shock kit to reduce chassis height and enhance handling stability. The kit features a carbon shock tower paired with aluminium short shocks to combine lightness and strength.

Centre of Gravity Reduction and Handling Gains

Shock length is shortened by around 7mm, which lowers the centre of gravity and reduces body roll for steadier cornering. The hard-coated aluminum cylinder promotes smooth operation and a controlled suspension response on different surfaces.

Flexible Setup Options

The conversion supports current competition springs, giving you scope to alter spring rates and preload for balance and traction. This flexibility helps when fine tuning for different track layouts or surface grip.

Durable Carbon Tower Design

The carbon towers are engineered specifically for short shocks to cut weight while maintaining mounting strength. That results in sharper response and better handling feedback, and the towers can be purchased separately if required.

Supported Chassis

  • RSR-010
  • RSR-020
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The primary benefit is a lower centre of gravity, which reduces body roll and improves stability through corners.
Installation uses standard RC tools and the same mounting points as the original shock setup, so no specialised equipment is necessary.
Shock components and the carbon towers are offered separately for maintenance or custom builds.
