Rear shock tower for precision drift tuning

This RC-scale graphite rear shock tower is intended for Yokomo drift platforms and like-for-like chassis where a stiffer shock mount is desired. The component concentrates stiffness at the shock attachment points to refine damping feedback while leaving the central chassis layout unchanged.

Installation notes: verify your chassis' rear tower mounting pattern prior to fitting, employ the car's existing mounting holes and hardware or equivalent fasteners, and confirm correct alignment and thread engagement when reassembling. This text does not attempt to enumerate included fasteners or exact hole spacings; always check the part against your specific vehicle.

Tuning role: swapping a stock plastic tower for a graphite version raises stiffness at the shock mount and can improve consistency of the rear response. Incorporate this change into a measured tuning plan together with shock valving, spring choices, and anti-roll adjustments to reach the handling you want.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Graphite typically resists deformation better than flexible plastics under load, but it can be more susceptible to stress concentration around mounting holes. Regular inspection after impacts is recommended.
Over-tightening fasteners can create stress points. Hand-start bolts, check engagement, and torque gradually to avoid inducing cracks around screw holes.
A stiffer rear tower changes how forces are transmitted; in some impacts this can shift load to other components. Inspect mounts and nearby parts after significant impacts and consider protective measures if needed.
