When fitting the aluminium arm in place of the resin version, use the D-155 series upper I arm rod end adapter to ensure correct alignment. This part is made to pair cleanly with YD-2 chassis geometry for a direct replacement.

Does this require different bearings?

No special bearings are required for the arm itself; retain your existing wheel bearings and simply check clearances during fitting.

Will aluminium increase the risk of damage on impact?

Aluminium is stiffer than resin and can transfer shock differently. It is tougher overall, but inspect mounting points after heavy impacts to ensure nothing has bent or cracked elsewhere.

What adapter do I need when swapping from resin?

Use the D-155 series upper I arm rod end adapter when replacing the stock resin arm to maintain correct steering geometry and fitment.
