This Yokomo YOKB7-S5S shock shaft is an RC-scale spare intended for use with BD7-2014 SLF short shocks. It is supplied to replace worn piston rods in SLF short shock assemblies and restore proper mechanical fit without modifying the shock body.

When servicing, remove the shock from the model, disassemble the end caps and spring, extract the old piston rod and piston, install the replacement shaft, then reassemble and verify oil level and shaft straightness. The part replaces the mechanical rod element only; damping characteristics remain defined by oil viscosity and piston selection, so keep your chosen oil and pistons to retain the same tune.

Regular inspection of the shaft for bends or surface damage helps prevent seal wear and inconsistent damping. This listing refers specifically to a 1/10 scale RC damper component and is not suitable for use in full-size vehicles.
