Engineered 26T Replacement Pinion

This 26-tooth pinion is supplied as a precision replacement for R/C motor drivetrains and is intended for scale model applications only. Altering pinion tooth count is a direct way to change final drive ratio, trade off acceleration for top speed, and better match motor output to the spur gear.

Verify shaft diameter and gear pitch for compatibility before installation. Proper mesh is vital—set the pinion so teeth engage cleanly without binding, secure the set screw, and re-check the mesh while rotating the drivetrain to confirm smooth operation.

For longevity, inspect the gear teeth routinely for chips, wear, or burrs and replace the pinion if any defects appear. Apply light, appropriate gear lubricant only when compatible with the spur, and keep the gears clear of dirt to reduce wear.

Selecting a 26T pinion is often a balanced tuning move; match it with your existing spur gear to fine-tune performance and observe motor temperature and ESC load during test sessions.
