The spring is produced from corrosion-resistant steel wire with an orange coating to aid quick identification of rate during setup. As an aftermarket tuning part it focuses on providing linear mechanical response for improved corner exit traction and steady mid-corner balance on loose or rough surfaces.

Installation on standard shocks is simple: undo the shock cap and remove the spring retainer, swap the spring while preserving internal shims or spacers, then confirm the preload and that the spring sits correctly.
