Accurate titanium ball connector for model linkages

The Yokomo YOKRP-101SHS is a precision titanium ball end supplied as a replacement or upgrade for scale R/C linkages, suitable for steering and suspension connections on model vehicles. It is not designed for use on full-size equipment.

Titanium is chosen for a strong but lightweight profile and improved resistance to corrosion relative to many steels. The 4.8mm short neck together with an 11.5mm ball seating determine clearance and articulation characteristics. These exact dimensions are part of the model identifier to help you confirm fit with existing rod ends.

Proper installation requires matching the thread and ball seat sizes; fit the ball end into the rod or linkage and secure as per your usual practice, then check full movement to avoid binding. When adjusting setups, change one link at a time and assess handling before further modifications.

Maintenance involves periodic inspection of the ball seat and threads, cleaning after dirty or wet runs, and applying suitable torque or thread-lock based on your servo and chassis manufacturer recommendations.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is compatible with scale R/C linkages that accept a 4.8mm short-neck fit and an 11.5mm ball diameter; always confirm thread size and seating before ordering.
Titanium provides a good balance of strength, lightness, and corrosion resistance, which can extend service life and reduce replacement frequency in outdoor use.
After installation, move the steering and suspension through their full ranges and inspect for binding or interference; if any is found, adjust linkage lengths or clearances accordingly.
