This pack contains eight precision aluminium shims measuring 3x6x3.0mm for use in R/C models. The black anodised coating offers surface protection while maintaining thin, consistent contact faces. These shims are intended for small, repeatable spacing or preload adjustments.

Application notes: place shims between bearings, shafts, hubs, or mounting points to remove axial play, improve gear mesh, or fine-tune part alignment. Each shim is a fixed 3.0mm thickness; stacking gives you a range of effective clearances without machining components.

Installation advice: ensure mating surfaces are clean before fitting to avoid debris entrapment, line shim edges with housings to prevent interference, and verify clearances after securing fasteners. Use threadlocker or locking nuts where vibration resistance is needed.
