Decals for scale R/C shell detailing

The Yokomo YOKZCD15Y detailing decal kit provides yellow-scale graphics for radio-control car shells. The decals are supplied to add clear identification and decorative elements while preserving proper shell fitment to the chassis. This cosmetic kit is sized for common model car body panels and does not include mechanical parts.

The decals are designed to stick to painted and finished R/C shells as well as similar smooth surfaces. They will not affect handling or drivetrain components. Confirm decal size and planned placement before application to avoid covering mounting holes, vents or other necessary openings.

Applying the decals is a straightforward task: clean and dry the target area, position decals with backing in place to verify alignment, then apply and smooth from the centre outward to reduce trapped air. Trim away any excess film with a hobby blade and, if desired, protect the finish with a thin clear coat while keeping vents clear.

In practice these stickers are useful for car identification, marking setup variations, or highlighting modified bodywork. Because they are cosmetic only, the decals offer a simple, cost-effective method to manage vehicle identification without affecting drive characteristics.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The decals are produced to suit typical model panels, but always check dimensions against your specific body before applying.
Smooth from the centre outward using a plastic squeegee or cloth and apply gentle pressure; reheating slightly can help with stubborn bubbles.
Mild isopropyl alcohol is generally safe for removing residue; test on an unseen area first to ensure it does not affect the finish.
