ST block and chassis guard details for YR-X12 models

The Yokomo YX-07 set supplies the steering block, chassis guard and pushrod end components fitted to 1/12 scale YR-X12 competition cars. These injection plastic parts are provided as service replacements to address worn or damaged steering and chassis mounting points.

Compatibility notes list YR-X12 and YR-X1219 chassis codes, so confirm your model before ordering. The components are chiefly used to restore correct steering geometry, protect chassis edges from impacts and deliver a reliable pushrod interface for on-track fine tuning.

Fitting is straightforward for an experienced modeller: remove the damaged componentry, clean mating surfaces and install the replacements using the same screws and orientation as originals. Expect to carry out minor adjustments to toe or steering link length if steering feel changes after fitting.

As plastic replacement items intended for 1/12 competition use, these parts are maintenance focused; they reinstate function and permit fine-tuning of steering response and chassis protection rather than offering performance upgrades.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This kit is listed for YR-X12 and YR-X1219. Verify your chassis code or consult the car documentation before purchase.
They are injection moulded plastic replacements designed for competition service; they restore function and protect chassis areas but are not high-end performance upgrades.
Carry out steering geometry and toe checks, then run a test session to assess handling. Small steering link or toe adjustments will usually rebalance the car.
