Bellcrank reinforcement for Works'91 series

The Yokomo YZ-202G is a graphite bellcrank support intended to be sandwiched between the front bulkhead and the upper deck, securing the upper portion of the steering post. The 2.0mm plate limits flex at the steering pivot, producing a firmer steering action and steadier behaviour when entering corners.

Fitting is achieved by placing the plate above the steering post upper journal and clamping it with the existing chassis hardware; additional parts are not necessary. Because this component is structural, handling changes derive from altered front-end stiffness rather than any modification to steering geometry.

When setting up, install the plate and run a baseline session with your normal tyres and toe settings, then make small changes to suspension or steering to evaluate the effect on turn-in and corner stability.

Yes. The YZ-202G is listed as compatible with YZ-W91TS and YZ-W91; confirm your chassis uses the same upper journal spacing before installing.
No. The plate is structural and reduces flex, but it does not alter the steering link positions or geometry; handling changes are due to increased stiffness.
Use the manufacturer recommended torque for the chassis hardware and avoid over-tightening. Excessive torque can concentrate stress on graphite and lead to cracking.
Keep contact surfaces free from debris, check fastener torque periodically, and inspect the plate after impacts. Replace if any structural damage is found to maintain safe handling performance.
