Rear driveline universal shaft suited to YZ-2 service

This rear universal drive shaft is designed for the 2WD off-road YZ-2 platform and employs C-clip retention. The set includes the pair required to replace a worn rear driveshaft assembly and is intended for maintenance and repair, not as a performance upgrade.

Fitment is limited to the B-YZ2CA and B-YZ2DT chassis variants of the YZ-2 family; please verify your chassis code before purchase. The shafts serve as a direct rotating link in the rear drivetrain and will affect drivetrain smoothness and traction response.

Installation notes: make sure C-clips are fully seated and kept free of debris, check clearance relative to suspension travel and spur gear mesh, and inspect adjacent ball bearings and hubs for wear during replacement. After a short run, recheck clip retention and confirm there is no unexpected play.

Packing includes

  • Rear universal drive shaft - 2 pcs
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
After installing the shafts, cycle the suspension through full travel and rotate the drivetrain by hand to confirm there is no interference with the chassis, hubs, or spur gear. Adjust as needed before running.
Symptoms include lateral play at the axle, unusual drivetrain noise, or the shaft walking out under load. If noticed, stop and reseat the C-clips, then re-inspect bearings and hubs.
The box contains the two rear universal shafts only. Any new bearings, hubs, or small hardware should be procured separately if inspection reveals they are required.
