Tuning Spacer for Yokomo ZC-A2510A Chassis Work

The Yokomo ZC-A2510A blue aluminium shim is 2.5x5x1.0mm and built to assist fine suspension setup on DP-DIB2 and YD2 style platforms. Its controlled thickness helps you zero in on ride height and roll centre tweaks for more consistent lap times or drifting lines.

Robust, Low Mass Component

Constructed from lightweight aluminium, the shims provide a durable option for repeated adjustments without adding unnecessary weight. The eight shims in the pack let you test small increments at the arm or mount positions to shape understeer and turn in characteristics.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are used to make small, repeatable changes to suspension geometry, such as ride height and arm spacing, which affects handling balance and roll response.
Shims primarily change vertical spacing and preload; any camber or toe changes are indirect and depend on your suspension layout, so check alignment after fitting.
Work on a clean bench, use soft jaw pliers or tweezers to position shims, and avoid forcing them into place. Inspect for burrs and ensure smooth rotation of nearby joints after installation.
Check shims after heavy impacts; if edges are deformed or the surface is gouged, replace them to keep setup accuracy. Aluminium resists compression but can nick on hard contact.
