Vibration-damping insulator for DZ170 CDI

The YS Engine YSE2192 gasket is a dedicated replacement part for DZ170 CDI model engines in radio control applications. It reduces electrical conduction and heat transfer while helping to limit vibration reaching the airframe or mount.

Fitment is limited to the DZ170 CDI as listed. When installing, ensure both mating surfaces are clean, dry and flat, set the gasket squarely between the engine flange and the mount plate, and hand-thread bolts before tightening. Use a cross-pattern to bring the clamp-up together and avoid over-tightening which can compromise isolation.

For routine maintenance and tuning, the gasket lessens heat soak into adjacent components and minimises mechanical coupling, aiding repeatable engine behaviour and simpler tuning sessions. Keep a spare to ensure consistent mounting after removal and refit.
