Cam gear cover O-ring overview

The YS Engine YSF1233 O-ring is a small replacement seal used on cam gear cover assemblies of YS model RC engines. It helps maintain oil and lubricant retention around the cam gear area while reducing the risk of dirt or fuel residue reaching the gears.

Fitting is performed during standard maintenance: remove the cam gear cover, examine and clean the groove and mating face, fit the O-ring ensuring it sits evenly, then refit the cover and tighten to the specified torque. Monitor for any leaks after running and include checks in your routine tuning schedule.
