Designed for reliable wheel nut turning

The Yokomo YT-N70W 7.0mm box wrench is intended for turning wheel mounting nuts on scale model cars. A carbide-tipped contact face gives precise seating on nut flats, helping to reduce slippage during tightening and loosening operations.

The aluminium handle is contoured for a secure grip while keeping overall weight low to limit hand fatigue during repeated wheel changes and setup. The closed box end keeps the socket engaged with the nut as you rotate, which makes trimming or replacing wheels at the bench quicker and more controlled.

For safe and effective use, seat the 7.0mm box fully over the nut before applying torque, keep the carbide face free from grit for consistent contact, and avoid levering actions that can round off nut corners. This is an accessory for RC wheel and wheel nut service and is not meant for full-size vehicle applications.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Store the wrench in a protective pouch or tool case to prevent knocks that could damage the carbide face, and keep it away from abrasive debris.
Apply steady, controlled torque and avoid excessive force; over-tightening can damage nut threads or wheels. Use the tool to snug nuts, then follow vehicle-specific torque recommendations where applicable.
Yes. Its robust carbide tip and lightweight aluminium grip make it appropriate for both bench work and track-side wheel servicing, provided the nut size matches.
