3G Transmission Case—Compatible with YZ-2DTM

Designed for the 2WD YZ-2DTM platform, this 3-gear transmission case provides the enclosure and mounting interfaces for the 3G gear train. It supports the driveline internals used on YZ-2DTM based chassis.

Replace worn or damaged transmission housings on compatible B-YZ2DTM family models with this left/right pair. The case is intended for standard RC maintenance and repair tasks where correct enclosure geometry affects gear mesh and drivetrain alignment.

When installing, check bearing alignment and seating, set correct gear mesh and freeplay before power-up, and inspect any seals or shims transferred from the original assembly. This unit is supplied as a direct replacement and not as a gear ratio changer.

Compatibility

  • B-YZ2DTM
  • B-YZ2DTMW
  • B-YZ2DTM2
  • B-YZ2CAL2
  • B-YZ2DTM2S

The case lists compatibility with the B-YZ2CAL2 model among others. For peace of mind, compare mounting points and part references or confirm with the seller to ensure a direct fit to your specific chassis variant.
This housing is intended to match original bearing locations and shim arrangements. If you reuse seals or shims, inspect them for wear and replace if necessary to maintain correct mesh and bearing preload.
Yes. After swapping housings, check alignment, set gear mesh, confirm smooth rotation by hand, and perform a cautious test run while monitoring for unusual noise or binding.
