Overview: YZ-2T Body Stiffener

This RC-scale stiffener is made for the Yokomo YZ-2T 2WD racing truck platform and compatible B-YZ2T chassis. It suppresses side flex of the shell and provides an integrated side bumper to help manage knocks and contact encountered in tight racing or practice.

When adjusting the setup, use the stiffener to control body deformation that can alter aerodynamic performance and trim. The component is designed to mount with the YZ-2T stock body fixing points and to supplement chassis tuning rather than replace it.

To fit the part, position the stiffener along the body side and secure using the existing YZ-2T or B-YZ2T mounting points, then verify there is no interference with wheels and suspension travel before use.

Is the stiffener compatible with aftermarket YZ-2T bodies?

Can this replace a dedicated bumper?

The stiffener is intended to absorb light lateral knocks and protect the shell, but it is not a substitute for a heavy-duty, purpose-built bumper.

Will fitting affect ride height or travel?

When installed correctly there should be no change to ride height; always check for rubbing under full suspension compression and steering extremes.
