Adjusting rear suspension with the Yokomo Z2-018-2

The Yokomo Z2-018-2 Graphite Rear Shock Tower is tailored for the YZ-2CA/DTM series and gives a simple way to modify rear ride height by selecting alternate shock mount points. This feature is particularly useful if you fit the Z2-302S1YZ-2 gearbox spacer set. Made from sturdy graphite, the tower includes two mounting screw positions so you can preserve conventional shock placement even when the gearbox raises the mount by 2mm.

Construction and chassis support

Produced from reliable graphite material, the Z2-018-2 offers consistent stiffness to support tuning on different surfaces. It is compatible with several YZ-2 chassis options, for example B-YZ2DTM3 and B-YZ2CAL3, making it a flexible choice for drivers refining handling characteristics.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Switching mounting holes alters leverage and can change how the rear responds to bumps and cornering. Use small adjustments to find the best compromise between grip and rotation.
It fits multiple YZ-2 variants including B-YZ2DTM3 and B-YZ2CAL3. Confirm fitment with your chassis layout before final assembly.
Check for surface cracks, stripped threads or warping. Replace if you see significant damage to ensure consistent suspension performance.
Basic care is enough: keep mounting areas clean, avoid overtightening screws, and inspect after heavy impacts to maintain reliability.
