YZ-2DT Battery Plate Description

The Yokomo Z2-118PD is a graphite battery plate made for YZ-2DT 2WD off-road buggies. It is designed to replace the original plate and secure the battery in competitive and practice environments.

Compatible models include the B-YZ2DT series: B-YZ2DT, B-YZ2DTMW, B-YZ2DTM, B-YZ2DTM2, B-YZ2CAL2, and B-YZ2DTM2S, meaning it fits where the YZ-2DT battery footprint and mounting holes are present. Graphite construction offers reduced weight and increased stiffness versus many composite plates.

Fitting is straightforward for experienced builders: remove the stock tray, move over any straps and mounting hardware as needed, then secure the Z2-118PD using the existing screw positions. Confirm screw lengths and strap alignment after installation. The change to graphite can affect chassis feedback, so reassess setup settings when testing on different surfaces.
