Lightweight aluminium bellcrank for YZ chassis

This aluminium steering bellcrank is intended for RC off-road vehicles and acts as a replacement for the original resin steering arm on the listed YZ-series chassis. The metal construction increases stiffness when compared to resin, which can make steering inputs feel more direct and consistent under load.

An enlarged support bearing is used to enhance durability around the steering pivot compared with older variants. Since this component is for electric off-road models, always verify how it mates with your current steering links and servo output before final assembly.

Fitting instructions: remove the stock bellcrank following your chassis guide, move across any bearings or spacers that must be reused, and attach the aluminium bellcrank with the original fixings. After fitting, check servo centre and adjust trim and end-points as required. The benefits of the stiffer bellcrank are most apparent with firm steering links and correctly set servo endpoints.

Upkeep: inspect the pivot bearing and surrounding area regularly for contamination and wear, keep contact surfaces clean, and recheck fastener torque after initial runs.

In most situations yes; the design is compatible with the factory bearings and spacers, but inspect components and replace any that show wear before refitting.
Not when fitted correctly. Aluminium reduces flex but you should ensure bearings are seated and linkages are free-moving to avoid binding issues.
After installation revisit servo centring, trim and end-points, and consider stiffer links or altered ackermann settings to capitalise on the improved steering stiffness.
