Rear mount spacer designed for YZ-2 setups

This is an RC-scale rear suspension mount spacer intended for use with the Yokomo YZ-2 family. The spacer is placed between the plastic rear suspension mount pieces so you can achieve smaller, incremental changes to rear suspension arm height without modifying the original mounts.

Use the spacer to refine roll centre and ride height or to correct geometry after swapping mount plates. It stacks with the factory plastic components and provides a predictable offset rather than replacing existing parts. Make measured adjustments and reassess handling after each change.

Fitting is simple: loosen or remove the rear mount as required, position the spacer between the plastic mount layers at the chosen point, then reassemble and check alignment. As this part is for fine tuning, perform incremental changes and verify suspension travel and wheel clearance before high speed operation.

Compatibility

  • B-YZ2
  • B-YZ4
  • B-YZ2CA
  • B-YZ2DT
  • B-YZ2DTM
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It gives a controlled rise in rear arm height, letting you tune ride height and roll centre in small steps to influence traction and balance. Always test incremental changes to judge the handling effect.
The spacer lists compatibility with B-YZ2, B-YZ4, B-YZ2CA, B-YZ2DT and B-YZ2DTM. Fitment can vary with mount plate orientation, so check stack height and alignment during trial assembly.
After installation, inspect alignment and run a low-speed test to check suspension travel and clearance. If satisfied, proceed to longer sessions but re-check fasteners and handling after the first run.
