Adjust gearbox height to alter rear roll and traction

The Yokomo Z2-302S1 spacer set is made to shift the gearbox vertical position on YZ-2 chassis to change rear roll characteristics and traction balance. The kit includes four 1.0mm shims that fit under the gearbox, above the rear suspension mount, and beneath the front brace so you can tune height without cutting parts.

Each spacer raises the gearbox by 1mm when placed at the specified locations. For setup work, change one spacer at a time and evaluate cornering and driveline behavior between runs to determine the best stack for your track conditions.

Be aware that adjusting gearbox height will move the motor relative to the shock tower. If you need to recover correct pinion alignment, use the separately available Z2-304C-2 in combination and consider fitting a compatible 3G motor mount.
